Victor Mavedzenge introduces us to Carolynn Haydu, Christina Spiegel and Dave Sylvester, whose work is featured in the 2020 East Bay Artists book. At first glance, these individuals appear to have very little in common. Visually, their styles and approach to art are quite distinct from one another. But as the conversation turns candid, it becomes clear that a common thread runs through them. Listen in as these three artists share their feelings about empowerment, the value of community and the challenges we all face within the human condition.
